Abstract:Finds that business magazines rely heavily on senior executives as information sources; female sources are significantly underrepresented in most occupational groups; United States business magazines significantly overrepresent sources in the mid-Atlantic region while underrepresenting the Midwestern and Southwestern regions; and Canadian publications overwhelmingly use Ontario sources while underrepresenting sources from Quebec and the Prairies.
