Camera: Olympus OM-2n. 35mm/f=3.5 lens. Kodak Royal Gold 1000. Exposure time 20 sec. The images were scanned by Remo Nyfeler from 20x30cm paper prints. The houses in the images are in total abscurity. I illuminated the foreground with a flash-light, but I "softened" the strong light-beam by filtering it through an opaque transparent-paper. I applied the same procedure also to the Castle in the "3000th Comet Hale-Bopp Image" from April 8.

First image: Hale-Bopp with one of the typical farm-houses from the Emmental-Region, built in 1906. Second image: Hale-Bopp is shining over the roof of my bee-house. I hope, the good influence of the comet will induce to the bees the right stimulus, so that they can bless me with an abundant honey-crop in this year.
