Continues Credit Clearing House Rating Information Book. Names listed in the Apparel Trades Book are primarily those of retail and wholesale concerns featuring apparel merchandise exclusively or in conjunction with other lines. Each entry includes the company name, D-U-N-S number, and one or more letters or symbols indicating the principal lines of merchandise handled. The publication uses a three-dimensional rating system to indicate financial worth, payment habits, and overall credit risk. Entries are arranged alphabetically by state, then city, town or village, and finally company name.

The November 1942 edition is the first to carry this title. The Library has both Spring and Fall 1943. Beginning in 1944, the publication pattern becomes February, May, August, and November. All editions published between November 1947 and August 1959 are housed in the folio area of the deck. Except for the following, the Library appears to have a complete run: May 1951 and February 1980 were not received; November 1975, 1982, May and November 1986, and August 1992 appear missing.
