As Chief Scientist, Hank has devised a Preliminary Cruise Plan and Time Budget. It includes transect locations, tasks, station depths, time required at station. From this plan I created a graphic showing the **planned** cruise tracks and station locations. See the EEGEL Data Page at . The cruise will start in Milwaukee and work counterclockwise around the southern basin. Contact Hank (vanderploeg@glerl.noaa.gov) for a copy of the plan or to modify or include stations and/or tasks. At this time, the list of participants that I have is: Hank Vanderploeg (GLERL) Marie Bundy (ANS) Joann Cavaletto (GLERL) Tom Johengen (CILER) Steve Ruberg (GLERL) Andy Winkelman (CILER) Paul Ripple (MTU) Robert Henry (UWM) Shubhadeep Parkayastha (UWM) EPA-PCB Team I have included all of the above names (except the EPA-PCB team) in an EEGLE alias, called eegle-pilot@eegle.glerl.noaa.gov. Also included in the eegle-pilot alias are Brian Eadie, Wayne Gardner, Peter Lavrentyev, Jim Cotner, David Rockwell, and Paul Horvatin. You can use this alias to communicate with all Pilot Cruise scientists (I will archive these e-mails on the Archives Page). If I have missed anyone please let me know. I also put up on the Data Page a set of tables and graphs that list and show the locations of All moorings that were deployed in 1997 and those that are still in place as of 12/97.
