Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson today announced that she will host a Youth Diversity and a Dialogue at Southern Methodist University’s Owen Arts Center, on Monday August 20th.
Congresswoman Johnson and Ambassador Karen Hughes has worked with His Highness Prince Aga Khan Shia Imami Ismaili Council for Northern Texas to devise a forum for an educational dialogue between speakers and representatives of the local youth so that our future leaders are building on upon the idea of “inclusivism,” and develop the right to tools to combat extremism and promote tolerance.
