Washington, DC--U.S. Congressman Mike Pence and his family attended the Ball State-Navy football game in Annapolis Saturday.  Pence had the following comments on the game:

"The Pence family was thrilled to join hundreds of Ball State Cardinal fans at the historic Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD, for this football battle. We were inspired by the patriotic display of Midshipmen filling the field before the game. We were just as inspired to join the 'red section' of Cardinals fans who came from all over the country to enjoy this first-ever match-up.

"The Cardinals were awesome. Facing a Navy team that led the league in rushing the past three years, the Ball State Cardinals took to the field and met Navy blow for blow. The whole Pence family will never forget the day we saw the Cardinals fly off with the Navy. We can't wait for the rematch in Muncie next year!"
