Fuzzy logic is simply the idea of a "logic" that can take on a continuous
range of values from 0 to 1 instead of only 0 or 1. This models the real
world much better.

FUZZY logic is not new.....but for some reason many of the younger computer
data-heads have forgotten the world of the Analog computers of the 50's and
60's. These computers were exceedingly powerful, and also very, very
temperamental. Fuzzy logic is an attempt to get back to the power of analog
computing without the headaches. It has been somewhat successful.
