Orientation Activity Investigating culture and document analysis with multimedia The purpose of the orientation activity is to introduce the Document Analysis tool and resilience. Participants will use a specific set of multimedia and documents to practice in-depth analysis of a source. Specifically, this activity will investigate the cultural concept of resilience with multimedia sources.
Introduce the resilience, the Document Analysis Tool, the sources, and review group roles
Divide into groups of four using group roles. Each group has one Task Card to complete for this activity.
Compare worksheets and check for agreements. From the discussion elicit a group agreement about the qualities of a resilient individual. The two key aspects of resilience are an individuals qualities and their network of support. Debrief how to use the Document Analysis Worksheet. |
