Camera Requirements

| AThe microscope is provided with a digital imaging capability in both scanning and direct TEM imaging modes. For TEM image recording, a CCD camera or equivalent shall provide a capability for recording 2048 X 2048 pixels at an "effective" pixel size of 50µm, at a magnification of up to 2MX. In addition, an insertable digital video camera with 1024 x 1024 pixel capability is provided directly below the final projector lens for providing large field-of-view capabilities. |

Camera Control Software
|
| Software for both TEM imaging via a CCD camera (or equivalent) and scanning imaging operate in a seamless fashion from the external computer system, and is scriptable. |
