     The following is the current situation from the Areas to-date:
     
     New York Metro Area 
     Newark AMC--Continental Air has suspended all flights to Tampa and 
     Bermuda due to the hurricane situation.
     
     
     Mid-Atlantic Area
     * Greenville's flooding - more extensive than yesterday, service loss 
     to 6,000 additional customers.  
     * Windsor PO - reopens tomorrow in National Guard Armory.  Cases and 
     counters bought in and set up today.   
     * Mobile post office - set up tomorrow adjacent damaged Speed Post 
     Office, service will resume.
     
     Other conditions -Bellhaven 27810, Open.  Poor indoor air quality.  
     Windsor 27983 Closed, Flooding.  Rocky Mount 27801,03,04. Heavy 
     flooding. Speed 27881, Closed, Flooding. Mobile unit will open on 
     Wednesday.  Tarboro 27886, Open. Basement flooded, generators on-site. 
     Scranton 27875, Closed, Delivery Swan Quarter.  Greenville 27834,58 
     Opens.  Flood levels increasing. Wilson 27893/4, Flooded streets.
