Description
Windsor Bloomfield Landfill, Windsor, CT is an active 107 acre municipal landfill with a closed 1.5 acre metal hydroxide sludge cell. The town is currently under a state order to put in leachate and gas collection system. EPA expects that the landfill owner/operators will provide sufficient data before the year 2003 indicating that human exposures are not occurring and contaminants in groundwater are clearly delineated and controlled.
