This should occur at approximately 21:18z. There will be an outage of HRPT during the contact while the transmitters are off. TIP will be configured to beacon BTX#2, 137.77MHz. Users may also see a shift in the instrument analog values as the XSU switch causes clocks to re-syncronize. This is similar to what was observed on NOAA-16. HRPT should be commanded on before loss of signal over the CDA. There will be a gap in the data of approximately one major frame. *Data Affected by the Outage: *NOAA-17* * *Date and Time of the Outage: *1/15/2008, 2118 UTC/ 4:18 PM* * *Length of the Outage: *No longer than 10 minutes** *Contact Point for Questions: ESPC Operations OCL (Operations Crew Leader), 301-817-3880 * --------------070200010601050005070600 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
