Highlight's A. Integration South Pole Subsystem - Fabrication of the Hoffman Box is complete. - Integration of the Hoffman Box is complete. - Installation of waveguide and the coupler is complete. - Fabrication and installation of RF and control cabling is in progress and will be completed Tuesday. - Fabrication and installation of Rack #2 RF cables is complete. - Mounted the PLC in rack #2. Staged parts and wire to wire the PLC when Hoffman work is complete. WSC Subsystem - Fabrication of the twinax cables is complete for both racks. - Fabrication of the coaxial cables is complete for both racks. - Parts are staged for fabrication of the DB37/Twinax breakout cables after the PLC wiring effort. - The I/O Panel has been designed and has been sent for WSC personnel for review and comment. Paperwork to send the task out for fabrication is in progress. Job should go out later this week. - Parts for the I/O panel, except for the twinax bulkhead connectors, have been staged at Heathrow. B. EC(s) - Updated the cables runs list for the SP segment with "as built" information. - Continue to develop detailed cable fab sheets for the SP segment. - Updated the detailed diagram of the WSC segment for DAS cabling. The diagram is now available on the SPTR website. - Completed the draft of the WSC cable runs list and submitted to WSC personnel for review and comment. Items noted by K. Takada are being fixed. - Updated a draft of the rack elevation for WSC segment. C. Parts - Ordered the remainder of the prefab control cables. - Compiled a list for WSC subsystem. All are in stock except twinax bulkhead connectors. - Talked to A. Stewart of Seavey Engineering. The S-Band antenna and feed will be delivered by 10/10/97. The Ku-Band antenna and feed will be delivered NLT 10/24/97. Project schedule impacts were discussed and Seavey will attempt to deliver the Ku-Band dish earlier. - The waveguide and foamflex previously expected to be GFE is being researched for procurement later this week. Selections made available do not meet specifications and time is becoming critical. 2. Software SPTR monitor & control s/w efforts are on hold until 9/30. 3. Hardware Configuration Items No change. 4. Software Configuration Items Software orders are all complete. 5. Schedule No change from last week. 6. Medical Clearance A. Fortin has been approved. K.
