Ref: Your release 17 Oct 95 public comment of "Made in USA" claims

Gentlemen:

1.  My objections include foremost that lack of a label is not enforced.  Example: All cars on
Toyota of the Desert lot do not have a label showing any info. at all even after I personally
warned the Manager.  I want to know that someone vigorously enforces the act.  This company is
in the Auto Center in Cathedral City, Ca.

2.  Label "Assembled in Mexico of USA components" is not acceptable.  Percentages should be
included.

3.  Some products exist which state product is manufactured in one of several listed countries but
no specific item listing where that individual item was manufactured.  This is wrong!  List the
specific country.

4.  Canada & USA percentages on American automobiles should be split so us customers can tell
how much is really USA.  This is a farce!

5.  Please advise what you are going to do about item 1 above.
