Mobile Recovery Centers To Tour Five Counties

Nashville, TN -- Mobile disaster recovery vehicles will make a series of stops in five counties beginning June 2 to allow residents who suffered losses in the severe storms of May to get disaster assistance information and learn the status of their requests for aid.

Here is the schedule:
June 2 -- Lawrence County at the Lawrenceburg city administration building parking lot, 233 W. Gaines Street, Lawrenceburg..

June 2-3 - Hamilton County at the East Ridge City Hall south parking lot, 1517 Tombras Ave., Chattanooga.

June 3 - Williamson County at the Williamson County administrative office complex. 1320 W. Main St.

June 4 - Sumner County at the city hall parking lot, 117 W. Main St., Gallatin.
June 4-5 -- Hamilton County, BiLo supermarket parking lot, 1600 E. 23rd St., Chattanooga.

June 5 - Wilson County, Mt. Juliet High School parking lot, 3565 N Mt. Juliet Rd., Lebanon.

The hours at each location will be 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Disaster specialists from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency (TEMA), and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be available to explain assistance programs and answer questions.

To receive assistance, residents of declared counties must first register with FEMA by calling 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) toll-free between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. seven days a week. Applicants with speech or hearing impairment should use the TDD number, 1-800-462-7585.
