Feb 22, 2008 Okinawa City - Consulate Naha's Public Affairs Officer, Thomas Kreutzer, traveled to Okinawa city to speak with students at Kyuyo High school. Mr. Kreutzer spoke about his role at the consulate and explained to the students how he became an American diplomat.

Mr. Kreutzer's talk was followed by a presentation from Foreign Service National Akinori Hayashi who spoke about the role of Japanese citizens at consulate and the importance of English study. Both presentations were followed by a lively question and answer period.
