Army Staff Sgt. Judy Tripp, a member of the United States Army 3rd Infantry Regiment, The Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, known affectionately as the "wig sergeant," shows Staff Sgt. Joelle Glasser, a bugle player, how to curl a colonial wig. The colonial wig is part of the uniform that is worn during parades and special events. Glasser has volunteered time from her primary job to learn the trade. The Old Guard provides military ceremonial support to the 55th Presidential Inauguration, to occur Jan. 20, 2005.
