The following is an example of "Video Descriptions"
as proposed at the November 18, 1999 FCC Commission Meeting.
Shaking the glass with his palm, Rick stares into space over the whiskey bottle.
He starts to say something then shuts his mouth and bows his head.
His white tuxedo jacket is rumpled. His eyes glisten in the dim light.
Picking up the stub of a cigarette, he inhales deeply then lets the smoke drift out of his nose and mouth.
The scene blurs and changes to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.
(Music Playing)
A flashback to Rick and Elsa driving down the Champs Elysees.
Rick wears a wide grin. The wind tugs at Elsa's hair and scarf.
She beams at Rick as the scenery behind the car changes to a country road.
Rick puts his arm around her.
She nestles in the crook of his shoulder, looks up at the sky, then closes her eyes.
Later riding on a river boat Rick buys peanuts from a vendor.
He tosses a nut in the air. Elsa catches it with both hands (she laughs).
Later in Rick's flat Elsa arranges flowers in a vase.
Rick pops open a bottle of champagne.
Elsa smiles and curls up next to him. Rick hands her a glass with a sly grin.
Rick asks, "Who are you really and what were you before? What did you do and what did you think, huh?"
Elsa responds, "We said no questions."
Rick toasts saying, "Here's looking at you kid."
They drink deeply gazing at each other.
The scene changes to a dark glittering ballroom lit by sparkles thrown off by a mirror...(narrative fades out)
