After misclassified data was edited, the mosaic was imported into Leica Geosystems Imagine software where grey scale values were reclassified. Images were exported back to an geotiff format. The MajorityFilter command in ArcInfo (with Eight|Half parameters) was run on the image to reduce the number of polygons features, essentially smoothing the data through a neighborhood analysis. The raster image was then converted to polygon features in ArcInfo. Sediment grab data and video information were used as a validation tool.
