Subject:   Please Support Furse/Morella & Bradley Bills Against
the Timber Salvage Rider

Dear Sirs,


I'm shocked and saddened to find that our national forests have
become an oversized tree farm at the expense of myself and other
taxpayers.

We are truly about to lose the last of our great ancient forests.
What will we leave behind for our children?

Further, cleaning up of the forest floor along with misbegotten
logging practices are creating erosion that is threatening many
communities with more potential flood damage than ever before and
threatening to drive at least one species to extinction.

Please halt this activity and support the Furse/Morella & Bradley
bills to repeal the rider and support lifting the moratorium on
the Endangered Species
Act.
