| Description/Abstract | A new method is described for the manufacture from heavy hydrocarbon oils, of deodorized heavy hydrocarbon-oils, suitable for lubricative and other purposes.^The products are free from the characteristic odors of hydrocarbon-oils and have a slight smell like fatty oil.^The apparatus for carrying out the method of production includes a still suitable for distilling oils and the superheating-coil, with its steam-pipe, outlet-pipe, and return-pipe, and their stop-cocks. |
