Dear X8-C users,

The September-December 1999 schedule for X8-C is open for requests from
members of PRT institutions (General Users will be assigned time next
week). The schedule is on-line at the X8-C home page:
  http://www.x8c.nsls.bnl.gov under "Schedule (Sept-Dec.)".

There are 63.5 beam days in the fall trimester, as usual less than other
trimesters because of the December maintainance period. There are no
operations between November 22 and the beginning of the year 2000.

Lynne Howell and I will be filling your requests, and between us we can
usually give you a response within hours.

As you probably noticed from the previous message, we have switched to a
new mail system which keeps schedule requests and other notices like this
one in a web archive. The nighly operator reports are also being
archived, see the home page for the link.

Cheers,
  Joel
