Dear Mom and Dad,
Received your letters of March 11 - 13. If I get much fatter I'll need a bed all for myself.
You said Dad was listening to "Man Against Crime". I think some of the people in Cal. City ought to listen to it. From the clippings I've been getting, there are plenty of potential crooks there.
I don't need paper but I could use envelopes.
I think that I'm about caught up with the mail from you.
The weather was pleasant today-it feels as though it will cool off tonight. It stopped raining. For how long, I don't know. You know this isn't the rainy season. That's in late July and August.
I really appreciate your letters. I realize there isn't too much to say. Let me tell you, I'd rather receive a letter just saying "Hello".
