Daisy Khan at "Moritzbastei" in Leipzig

Daisy Khan, Executive Director of the American Society for Muslim Advancement, emphasized the need for intercultural understanding and tolerance in both Muslim and Western societies in front of academics, students and an interested general public in Leipzig. The event on the role of Muslim women in the U.S. and Europe was jointly organized by Consulate General Leipzig, the Association of Arab Students, and Eurient, a non-profit organization fostering a dialogue between the orient and occident.
