Current Research:
Directing field and lab investigations of three Prehistoric
shell mounds and five curvilinear shell ridge midden features
at De Soto National Memorial. The sites at the park are the remains
of a once extensive shell mound complex known as Shaw's Point
(8Ma7), possibly dating from the Deptford period through the Safety
Harbor periods.
