The 2003 Perseid Meteor Shower
The Perseid Meteor Shower is probably the best-watched of any annual meteor shower. This year, the show will peak on Wednesday, August 13th.
Many scientists believe that meteor showers may have seeded the Earth with the building blocks of life. Understanding how life begins and evolves is a fundamental question of astrobiology.
Be sure not to miss the show! No matter where you are, the best time to view the Perseid shower will be just before dawn on August 13th.
