for earthquake of  2008  Dec  14,  EAST  OF  THE  SOUTH  SANDWICH
ISLANDS,  about  455  km (280 miles) ESE of Bristol Island, South
Sandwich Islands:  latitude 60.1 degrees  south,  longitude  18.8
degrees  west,  origin  time  20  36  30.0  utc,  depth  shallow,
magnitude 5.5.  The magnitude and location may  be  revised  when
additional data and further analysis results are available.  This
earthquake  is  located  in  a  remote  area  and  no  damage  or
