Color: | Egg-yolk colored. |
Reproductive Structures: | The apothecia (disc shaped fruiting bodies) margins are often the same color as the disc and thallus (lichen body). |
Habitat: | Occurs on both acidic and calcareous rocks, bark and soil. |
General information: | Locally common. Only the thallus or only the apothecia can be seen in some specimens. |
