U.S. Transportation Secretary Mineta, Vietnamese Transport Minister Binh To Sign
First-Ever U.S.-Vietnam Aviation Agreement
As part of the continuing effort to strengthen U.S.-Vietnam relations and
expand trade between the two countries, U.S. Transportation Secretary Norman Y.
Mineta and Vietnam’s Transport Minister Dao Dinh Binh will sign the first-ever
comprehensive air services agreement between their two countries on Thursday,
Dec. 4.
Also attending the signing ceremony will be Vietnam’s Deputy Prime
Minister Vu Khoan and Vietnamese Ambassador to the United States Nguyen Tam
Chien.
Secretary Mineta and Minister Binh will deliver brief remarks and then
sign the historic agreement.
