From August 17 to 21, Judge Janet Bond Arterton, US District Judge met with judges, lawyers, and other interested audiences in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong Province to discuss legal and judicial issues. The discussion topics were diverse and crucial for a country which adopted market economy like Vietnam. In Binh Duong Province, one of the most important industrial hubs in Vietnam, Judge Arterton gave talks at Binh Duong Province People’s Court and Binh Duong Province Bar Association. In Ho Chi Minh City, she shared her knowledge and experiences with colleagues at HCMC Bar Association, HCMC People’s Court, International Business and Law Academy (IBLA), Saigon Businesspeople’s Club, and HCMC Women’s Union.
