QUESTION: Has anyone ever gotten hurt on the KAO? ANSWER from Curt Laughlin on May 12: As far as I know, no one has been seriously injured on the KAO. There have been some minor injuries, some resulting from handling large, heavy equipment in the confined space inside the aircraft and, at least one, from tripping over cables on the floor. It is necessary, sometimes, to run cables or plumbing across parts of the cabin floor because there is no other practical alternative. We try very hard to have a safe operation and we stress safety consciousness above all other operational considerations.
