The Department of Defense, Washington Headquarters Services, intends to solicit offers in response to request for proposal (RFP) HQ0034-08-R-1001 for base operations support services (BOS) with services to include, facility operations and maintenance, custodial services, pest control, snow and ice removal, and refuse removal at the Federal Office Building #2 (FOB2) - Arlington, VA, the United States Air Force Memorial (AFM) - Arlington, VA, Hybla Valley Federal Building (HVFB) - Alexandria, VA, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces (USCAAF) - Washington, D.C.. The subject requirement will be procured as a total small business set aside. Work includes, but is not limited to, a wide variety of maintenance, repair and replacement services as well as a wide variety of facilities and tasks. All work shall be performed in accordance with the performance work statement incorporated in the request for proposal and the specifications that will be provided at time of solicitation issuance. The awarded contract will consist of a 9 month base period with four (4) 12-month option periods. Total contract period, to include options, shall not exceed fifty-seven (57) months. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210. The Small Business size standard is $32.5 million. There will be a scheduled site visit for this project. The time and date for the site visit will be stated in the RFP.
