Description: Nearly 480 million cubic feet of industrial roundwood products were harvested from Florida's forests during 1987, 48 percent more than in 1977. Saw logs and pulpwood were the leading roundwood products, with pulpwood accounting for 60 percent and saw logs for 30 percent of the 1987 total output. Output of all major industrial roundwood products increased between 1977 and 1987--saw logs by 77 percent, veneer logs by 163 percent, and pulpwood by 26 percent.
