Unpublished Wind Rose Tabulations (various periods) Presents average numerical or percent frequency of occurrence of wind speed vs. direction, usually monthly and annual, in various formats for varying periods of record from 1929 to present. Sample formats are pictured in Index to Summarized Wind Data. Per location: $_____ $ 7.00 5. Customized Wind Rose Tabulations A. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Wind Rose for Airport Design (Diskette/Tablulations) Wind direction versus wind speed frequency tabulations are available on IBM PC compatible diskettes (specify size and density when ordering) which provide input into the Wind Analysis Program described in Appendix 11 of the FAA Advisory Circular "Airport Design" (AC 150/5300-13). The standard tabulation/ diskette provides an overall summary of 36-point wind quadrant data for combined all-weather conditions. Wind speeds are reported in knots and use 9 standard FAA speed groups plus calm. In general, the most recent 10 years of hourly data will be summarized. Additional tabulations described under "Customized Tabulations" below provide diskette files in the FAA Airport Design software format. Total cost is $250 for up to 5 separate tabulations per location plus $11 service and handling. B. Customized Tabulations NCDC can provide customized 16-point or 36-point wind rose tabulations of monthly, seasonal, and/or annual data; wind units in mph, knots, or meters/sec; and customer-specified a) ceiling-visibility thresholds, b) hours of operations, c) variety of present weather conditions, and d) speed classes (up to 9 classes with flexible ranges). Total cost is $250 for up to 5 separate tabulations per location plus $11.00 service and handling. C. SUMMARIZED EXTREME WIND SPEED DATA (see also E. CD-ROMs listed below) (Please circle) 1.
