Program Name: Wisconsin Diesel Truck Idling Reduction Grant Program

Special Requirements: Under the program, Commerce will provide grants to freight motor carriers headquartered in Wisconsin to purchase and install idling reduction units for newer truck tractors. The program will award one million dollars per year in grants through June 2011.  Eligible applicants will receive a reimbursement of 70% for the costs of idling reduction equipment and installation.  Please note that Commerce will not award grants for idling reduction equipment purchased or installed prior to July 1, 2006.
