"Fundamentalstations - an important key for the combination of space
 techniques"

 Abstract:

 This paper  summarizes the demand for Fundamentalstations as multitechnique
 sites. To make use of the strengths and to overcome the weakness of each
 space technique the combination is important for the provision of best
 results. In addition to the observables of the space techniques in situ
 observations are strongly required to provide local information.  The
 spectrum of observations, the demands of the local ties and the potential
 of Fundamentalstations is shown by the example of the multitechnique sites
 Wettzell and TIGO.
