Frequency Counts

This appendix contains output from the SAS Frequencies Procedure (SAS® Proc Freq) that shows the marginal frequency distribution (counts and percentages for categorical variables) and from the SAS Univariate Procedure (SAS® Proc Univariate) that shows selected descriptive statistics (ranges or measures of central tendency and variability and quartiles for continuous variables) for all 207 variables in the survey data file, including weighting variables, variables that reflect characteristics of the respondents’ telephone exchange area (as derived from the U.S. Census by GENESYS), additional SAS file variables, and other survey control variables, such as a flag for Form A and Form B (SUR_FORM). Note that any value in the data set with a count of zero is not shown.
