The objective of this experiment was to study the effects of weightlessness on the orientation of roots and shoots of wheat seeds. Germination and seedling growth was scheduled during flight. Results of growth in the seedlings were analyzed after recovery for biochemical changes associated with glycolytic enzyme systems.
