1. A method of treating cancer in a human, said method comprising orally administering an effective amount of a pharmaceutical composition comprising 2-Deoxy-D-glucose in combination with a cancer chemotherapy protocol, subject to the limitation that said protocol does not include administration of an inhibitor of oxidative phosphorylation and further subject to the limitation that said administration is in the absence of radiation therapy.
