Comment 04112502 From: harry@haroh.com Sent: Saturday, August 27, 2005 10:33 PM To: Rulemaking, TTB Subject: Notice No. 41: Labeling and Advertising of Wines, Distilled Spirits and Malt Beverages U.S. TTB Dear U.S. TTB, I am writing to you today to ask why it is that alcoholic beverages are the only consumable product that is exempt from disclosing serving information like calories, fat, carbohydrates and alcohol per serving. I noticed that everything else I buy at the grocery store contains this kind of information, but a six-pack, for some reason, doesn't have this on the label. I assume there must be a reason why you have not allowed companies to put Serving Facts on their labels, but I urge you to re-think this issue. I know there are many others beer drinkers like myself who would use this information, even if they don't go out of their way to write a letter to you. Please allow alcoholic beverage companies to put this information on their labels. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, Harry Oh 160 E.
