Spacecraft Ulysses
Question: What is the status on the satellite "Galileo" and was not there a
satellite that was going to explore the sun's magnetosphere outside the
ecliptic? What is the status on that?
------------------------------------------------
Text: Galileo is working fine except for the deployment of the main
telemetry dish antenna: telemetry is being performed at a much slower rate by
a smaller antenna. And yes, there is a solar polar mission, but I do not
recall its name. For questions like these check NASA's BBS, spacelink, which
you can get to from newton by selecting teaching topics from the main menu.
