UMPQUA ODNRA (OR), SIUSLAW NF - FS, ORDescription:Campsites are only accessible by 4x4 vehicles via sand (soft) road. Site is identified by numbered post. Camp within 150 ft of post; standard site limited to 5 vehicles/20 people, group site limited to 10 vehicles/40 people. Stop at corridor fee station and complete Sand Camping Permit. Alerts and Important InformationPossession of Alcohol is prohibited. Northwest Forest Pass or Oregon Pacific Coast Pass no longer valid for sand camping. Pack it in/Pack it out - dumpsters provided at entrances. Bring portable toilet and fire pan. All vehicles must display an Oregon OHV permit and a red flag 9 ft high when leaving pavement. Reserved campsite is released if not occupied within first 24 hours of arrival time. Motor vehicle use prohibited from 10pm to 6am South Jetty to Siltcoos, and midnight to 6 am Spinreel to Horsfall. Dune Fest is July 29, 2009 to August 2, 2009. Getting There:Umpqua Odnra (OR)855 HIGHWAY 101 Reedsport OR 97467 From Reedsport Oregon, travel 2 miles south to Winchester Bay. Turn west on Salmon Harbor Drive. Proceed 4 miles to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Access east either at boundary, 2nd Beach Parking Sand Access, or 3rd Beach Parking Sand Access.
