[VxW] multicast storm

Hi vx Net Work s people

My vxWorks target generates a "multicast storm" when receiving a ill
multicast frame from an other host.
the received frame has a multicast MAC address and a host (monocast)
IP address
the vxWorks target send back this frame modifying the MAC adresse.
Perhaps, because of a second (or more) vxWorks target, there are then
a multitude (#20000) of frames (same id) transmisted in a very short
time (#1s), while the TTL comes to 0.

this problem generated a SPR (SPR 70 788) in WRS support data base
(since oct 2001) but it seems to be still pending (no patch, no work
around)

Does somebody succed in avoiding such crazy multicast storm ???
