Baugher (303) 231-3162 THREE DENVER COMPANIES RECEIVE $15 MILLION FOR SUPPORT SERVICES (#40079) The U.S. Department of the Interior's Minerals Management Service (MMS) has awarded contracts totalling $15,194,043 to three Denver companies, MMS officials announced today. The Townsen Consulting Group will receive $1,261,226 over five years for on-site administrative support services provided to MMS' Royalty Management Program (RMP) and Western Administrative Service Center in Denver. Source One Management will receive $6,202,846 for the continuation of accounting support services provided to MMS' RMP. The American Management Systems Operations Corporation will receive $7,729,971 for the continuation of operation and maintenance services provided to the MMS computer facility at the Denver Federal Center. "MMS' royalty program collects and disburses about $4 billion annually in revenues from federal and Indian mineral leases," said MMS Acting Director Cynthia Quarterman. "These three Denver companies will assist MMS in its mission to collect, account for, and disburse those revenues in the most timely and accurate way possible." MMS administers federal offshore mineral programs and manages the federal mineral royalty collection program.
