Etiologic Research

This group has published extensively on environmental and genetic etiologies of UGI cancers. Etiologic research includes, but is not limited to, the role of vitamins/minerals, fruit and vegetables, smoking and alcohol consumption, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, H. pylori, human papillomavirus, oral health, acid reflux, body mass index, and genetic factors a in causing these cancers.
