Project PINNACLE:
Education + Organizational Design + IT Infrastructure = Networked Improvement Communities
GO-Frontier-IT
This project will result in virtual Networked Improvement Community conferences within and across each participating country, to include participation of all communities of people.
The proposed Millennium Frontier Networked Improvement Communities will forge a new role for disabled people, elderly people, and others as co-designers of societal communication networks. In order for whole communities to succeed in the future, they must be able to depend upon shared communications and information processes that accommodate broad differences among all their members. When societal technologies are insufficiently flexible to accommodate connection-making activities among all its members, the whole of society is adversely affected.
Developing the requisite technological infrastructure is a primary goal of Project PINNACLE -- Public Information Networks Needing Accessible Collaborative Learning Environments (see references for more information)
