Abstract: Flight Director Milt Heflin gives an overview of the goals of the Space Shuttle Endeavour. He describes the crew, the role of the orbiter, the planned experiments, and the timeline of activities on board. Mission Manager Aubray King introduces the Spacelab-J mission. He discusses the planned experiments and Japanese involvement in development. Heflin and King then take questions from the press.
