Dust Storms and atmospheric haze are common occurances in many parts of the 
world.  This dust storm over the Red Sea on the Sudanese and Ethiopian
coast   near Ras (Cape) Asis (18.5N, 38.0E) shows airborne dust and sand
being blown  in various directions at different altitudes in the
atmosphere.
