From: Holt, Bonnie E (LHD-Barren River District) [BonnieE.Holt@ky.gov] Sent: Monday, April 04, 2005 2:03 PM To: Dockets, FDA Subject: Food Labeling I do think that putting the total number of calories on the product is a good idea as well as how many per serving. People are so confused by what a serving is and what they are really intaking. To me, the serving sizes are easily understood, I am unsure how to make this anymore point blank. For future reference, I feel that the amount of sugar should be removed from the label. This is not helping diabetics understand what they are intaking. It is very confusing to them and other people when reading a label. Carbohydrates should be their main concern. Good Luck!
