Pamela J. Bookman
Commercialization Manager
Technology Commercialization Office

Pamela J. Bookman serves as a Commercialization Manager in the Technology Commercialization Office at NASA, Kennedy Space Center, Fla., with special emphasis in marketing and licensing of technologies developed at Kennedy Space Center. Additionally, she serves as the Awards Liaison Officer for KSC. 

Prior to this assignment, Bookman served as Federal Women's Program Manager in the Equal Opportunity Program Office at KSC. During this time, she completed a Professional Development Program assignment at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC, where she supported the Office of Human Resources and Education and served as Executive Officer to the NASA Chief Scientist.

Bookman has an extensive federal service career spanning 35 years. She has worked for several agencies, including the Treasury, Air Force and Justice departments. She has received numerous awards, including induction into the U. S. Space Foundation Technology Hall of Fame in April 2000.

Bookman has a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida, a master's degree in Management from Florida Institute of Technology, and a master's degree in Management of Technology from the University of Miami. 

Bookman lives on Merritt Island with her husband, Darryl. They have one grown son, Brendon.
